It was too good to be true, it looked cool and wasn't expensive. Sadly, it broke after less than a month of use. The strap just snapped one day, and I'm not the kind of person who throws their things around or treats them badly at all. I took very good care of it but it just wasn't made to last. This was a huge rip off. I will never buy from Volcom again.

My 12 year old son just got a new skateboard and has been using the same Quicksilver skate backpack for three years without anything breaking on it. He picked this one out and when it arrived today I was very impressed at the quality. The straps and back are padded well and it has a chest clip in the front too, which he said made it comfortable still with his backpack full of books AND his board strapped to it. All of the straps are a nice tight knit plastic with swen finished edges and sturdy plastic clips and slides. The fabric is very sturdy (but I want to see how well it holds up with the grip tape rubbing on it everyday), and the zippers look like they won't snag and they glide smoothly. Lots of pockets inside and out, including 2 for drinks on the sides and a cool elastic pouch/pocket inside the big part of the backpack (would prob. be good for deodorant or a change of clothes).     This backpack has been one of the coolest and brilliant purchases ive made on amazon, the material is crazy durable looks like it can withstand extensive use, I use it for rollerblading and listening to music with friends in Central Park its a great way to blade or skateboard or even bike also for day to day stuff in bag, I only wish it were a little bigger but it fits my sneakers/shoes fine.

    Pros: --Good material, --Waterproof definitely, --cool logos comes with stickers, --speakers sound good however dont expect too much bass, --inner design is cool too,--Big front pocket, --Great lil carry around bag honestly, Cant wait to take it to the beach and look like the cooolest guy u ever seen. Rockaway Beach 116 Holla!.

    Cons: --flimsy wires (the cables inside that connect to the Double-A battery pack seperates into two wires one for each speaker like a headphone jack, its kinda faulty and one side may go out from time to time, may have to replace wires with newer... Read more

    Product Description

    The black Paul Rodriquez Skate Pack Lite from Incase Design has been designed to meet the demands and needs of skateboarders who like to travel with their gear on their back. This unique pack combines the worlds of style and functionality by bringing to the table the aspects of a backpack that will make the skater's life easier and more organized. Created by Paul Rodriquez, a pro skater himself, this pack is rough and rugged and packed with features that make it appealing to the skater.

    First, it's made from durable polyester. Second, there's only one main compartment inside that makes accessing everything easy. Most of all, a cleverly designed touch fastened strap and nylon webbing loop have been included so you can strap your board to the outside of the pack and travel hands-free. The outside material resists abrasions so you won't have to worry about the board damaging your pack.

    Inside, in addition to the one large compartment, you'll have a selection of mesh, zipped and slip pockets within which you can store small grab items like your iPhone that will be secured within its own faux-fur lining. The reinforced computer compartment holds your 15" (38.1 cm) laptop. And for those long treks, there are two outside mesh pockets for water bottles.

    The whole point of me getting a backpack was to replace one I had for over 6 yrs. The problem I had with my last bag was it was huge. This Dakine bag is very bright and not so big its saggy. It has good storage for a laptop/netbook or for storing a few binders. This thing is built hella tough and sturdy. I can see lots of use out of this. I got the Green one and it is very bright and noticeable.
